They were led by Jeff Trew, not only a PIAA Champion, but one of the best swimmers in the entire country. It was all 28 young men that contributed to the unbelievable success of the team. ![]() ![]() Although gifted with a lot of individual talent, it was across the board dedication that enabled this team to rise to the zenith of swimming in Pennsylvania. The results this team achieved was not by chance. It brought the first ever WPIAL Title for Shaler Area and the first crowning of a PIAA Team State Swimming Champion ever for the PIAA, what an honor.
